Yoga in the Overlook Room


This is a gentle yoga class open to all levels. Bring your own mat, or one will be provided. Contact: Claire Coenen

Centering Prayer


Come and be still as we gather in sacred space by candlelight and cross in the presence of God and one another. The half hour begins with a brief passage of scripture or uplifting word from ancient and contemporary spiritual guides, followed by 20 minutes in silence, and concluding with a version of the Lord's Prayer.

Adelicia Acklen: A Dramatic Portrayal

Actress and historian, Elizabeth Coker, will appear in costume as one of Nashville’s most prominent citizens from the mid-1800’s.  Her home, Belmont Mansion, is the historical centerpiece of present-day Belmont University. Following the program, we will reflect on what we can learn from the past, how we have benefitted from it – or not, and the steps we are called to take today as Christians, as the Church, and as citizens of Nashville

Angst  Raising Awareness Around Anxiety


Join us for a free screening of ANGST, a film about anxiety, truth & hope. Real talk and real people dealing with real anxiety. Really. As it turns out, talking is the best thing for anxiety. Let’s talk.

The Confirmation Class of 2018 will be confirmed into membership in Christ's holy and apostolic church.

Prayer Service for Wholeness


The monthly Prayer Service for Wholeness will be held immediately following the 11:00 am service. This brief and informal service will include a time of centering ourselves in God’s love and light, sharing concerns and joys, griefs and celebrations, and individual and communal prayer. Bring whatever needs for prayer are on your heart; all ages are welcome.

Laudate Choir Tour Preview Concert


Please come and hear the Laudate Choir offer their tour concert before they depart for Maine and Nova Scotia on June 2. The concert includes a wide variety of musical styles.

Laudate will be singing for worship at the Mid-Coast Presbyterian Church in Topsham, Maine, on Sunday, June 3, as well as full concerts in Digby and Halifax, Nova Scotia. Westminster has provided such generous support of these faithful choristers and we would love to share our concert with you our community of faith before we leave on tour.  Please bring your family and join us!

Laudate Youth Choir Tour to Maine and Nova Scotia


The choir will sing for worship on June 3 at Midcoast Presbyterian Church, Topsham, Maine, and concerts at Trinity Anglican Church in Digby, and All Saints Cathedral in Halifax, Nova Scotia, on June 5 & 7.

Summer Music Camp - Life of the Party


Children who have completed Kindergarten through 6th grade are encouraged to join us! The program the children prepare throughout the week will be performed during Sunday School on Sunday, June 24.

This year, we will be learning and performing the musical "Life of the Party" with music by Allen Pote and words by Tom S. Long. This tells the story of Mary and Martha through lighthearted humor and poignant drama.

*Early rehearsals begin Wednesday, May 2, at 5:00 pm.
