Chiming Children Handbell Choir

Director — smarnn@nashvillewpc.org Mae Arnn - Chiming Children is part of the overall music education and worship ministry for children in grades 4-6. Chiming Children rehearsal immediately follows the Jubilate Choir rehearsal for children in grades 4-6 on Sunday afternoons and children are encouraged to participate in both choirs. This choir rings for many of the same services as the singing choirs--Children’s Sabbath, Children’s Christmas Eve, and Palm Sunday. They also travel with the Children’s Choirs to area nursing homes or hospitals to ring for others who are not able to attend church services. They also ring several times during the year for the Children’s Sunday School Gathering on Sunday mornings.
Youth Handbell Choir

This is the handbell ensemble for Youth in Grades 7-12. It is part of the overall Youth Fellowship Program. Youth Handbells continues to build upon the fundamentals of handbell ringing learned in Chiming Children, but all youth are welcome to join whether or not they have had previous handbell ringing experience. Youth Handbells generally play for worship twice a quarter.

The Harvard Handbell Choir

Director — johns@nashvillewpc.org John Semingson - The Harvard Handbell Choir is an intermediate to advanced 5-octave handbell ensemble. This ensemble rings for worship services every four to six weeks and for other occasional services. New members are welcomed each fall or as positions are available. Music reading is required.
