Children's Choirs
Music Camp Performance Pictures
Music Camp Registration 2008
The objective of our Children's Choir program is to give an opportunity for young people of all age levels to develop the art of Christian leadership through music. This comprehensive ministry of education and worship prepares our children for a lifetime of service to the church and encourages them to sing with beauty and sincerity, so that the singing of each choir might be a truly inspirational part of worship.

The Children’s Choir year runs from September through April. The choirs sing and lead worship for Children’s Sabbath, the Christmas Eve afternoon Family Service, Palm Sunday, plus other Worship Services during the church year. The Gloria and Jubilate Choirs travel each year to area nursing homes or hospitals to sing for those unable to attend worship at Westminster.

DISCOVERY: Kindergarten Wednesdays, 5 to 6 p.m. Room C-245 Coordinator: Martha Bess DeWitt. Discovery is not a choir in the true singing/performing sense, but it is a wonderful opportunity for young children to explore the many aspects of music and worship. This experience also helps to prepare them for the performing choirs in the next years. |
