Fellowship Classes
Young Families:
The Young Families Class is for parents of children approximately 0-5 years of age. The class includes fellowship and instruction on Sunday mornings, and family fellowship and community service outside of the church as well. The goal is to combine instruction to meet needs as parents as well as adults.
Adult Bible Study:
Intergenerational Bible study that seeks to relate scripture to our lives and world. Debra Popham and Laura Bearden, coordinators. (M-309)
Journeys Class:
Using the discussion and sharing format, this class will focus on contemporary and biblical themes for couples and singles of all ages. Michael Renwick and Jim Hunt, coordinators. (M-110)
Search:
Search is a small group format in which participants can share their concerns and questions about their faith. Joan Schleicher, coordinator. (M-311)
Good Samaritans:
Class taught by Jim Hoyal, using the Uniform Series International Bible Lessons. (Goodpasture Hall)
Murdoch Macleods:
Named for a former pastor, this class is for men who seek in-depth Bible study and fellowship. Wilford Fuqua, teacher. (M-305)
Life After Loss:
The group is open to members and nonmembers of Westminster, who have suffered the loss of a significant other or have experienced other kinds of loss. This class meets the first three Sundays of every month. Carson Salyer, coordinator. The class will begin September 11 due to the Labor Day holiday. (M-307)
Choir Class:
The Choir class is specifically designed for members of the Adult Choir. The class meets from 9:15—10:00, which allows members to participate in Sunday School, then attend choir rehearsal for the 11:00 service. (M-306)
New Member Class:
This is a 7-week course designed for those interested in uniting in fellowship with Westminster Presbyterian. The next class begins on September 11. Carson Salyer, coordinator. (M-308)
Weekday and Evening Fellowship Groups
Men’s Studies
Two men’s Bible study groups meet weekday mornings for study of the following Sunday’s lectionary scriptures and fellowship. Both groups gather for an annual retreat each Winter. These groups are loosely age-based:

Men’s Coffee:
For retired men and others who can join them, this group meets for conversation, coffee and cookies on the second Wednesday of each month at 11:00 a.m. in the Church Parlor.
WOMEN’S OPTIONS
Women’s Covenant Group: This group aims to meet the emotional, physical, and spiritual needs of women who are in mid-life. All interested women are welcome to attend. The group meets the 2nd Monday of each month at 11:30 in M-110 (beneath the parlor). Bring your lunch—beverages are provided. For more information, contact Jane McDow, 665.1364.Women’s Bible Study
Women of all ages are welcome to gather at 9:30 a.m. Thursdays in the Church library to study the lectionary passages for the coming Sunday. Led by Martha Bess DeWitt, Director of Christian Education, this intergenerational group also enjoys occasional social gatherings and book studies. Childcare is provided for those with a reservation; please call Corye Nelson, 292.5569.
Women's Book Study
The Book Study is open to all women and meets on the fourth Tuesday of the month at the home of Bobbi Graves, from September through May. For more information, please call Kay Hall, 269.4253.
Changing Gears:
A fellowship gathering designed for Senior members of the Church, this group meets the 4th Wednesday of each month at 11:00 a.m. for lunch, programs and excursions. All are welcome! Please reserve at lunch by calling 292.5526.
Wednesday Night Dinner and Fellowship
Every Wednesday, from September - April, at 5:45 p.m., dinner is served and conversation enjoyed! Please join us! Reserve a dinner by calling 292.5526 by 12:00 p.m. Monday.
