Nursery
Our Mission
The mission of the church nursery is to provide a safe nurturing environment for the infants and young children of those families who worship and fellowship within Westminster Presbyterian Church. We strive to provide quality care by hiring dependable, nurturing, and enthusiastic caregivers. All staff complete our Safe Sanctuary training upon being hired to work in the nursery and are hired with the understanding that they will be here on a regular basis to provide ongoing continuity of care.
Sunday Nursery Classrooms
There are five classrooms for nursery age children during the 8:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m Sunday services.

Children under the age of two are invited to stay in the church nursery during the Sunday school hour (9:45 a.m. - 10:45 a.m.). Children who are two years old and older by September 30th of the current school year are encouraged to attend Sunday school from 9:45 a.m. - 10:45 a.m. Children who are in the nursery during the 8:30 a.m. service should be picked up by their parents and taken to the appropriate Sunday school room.
Security
A safe, nurturing environment is a primary concern for the church and for parents and families. We address security by having trained and paid staff, and by having a sign-in system. For the security of all our children, please do not stand in the doorway of the classroom with the door held open. Please make direct contact with a member of the nursery staff upon arrival and departure with your child.
