WPC Flood Relief

 Flood Relief: Money Distribution

To date, Westminster members have generously contributed approximately $75, 000 to the Flood Disaster Fund. We are actively working on distributing these funds directly to members severely affected by the flood. The need is still extremely great among our members and others within the concern of the church.

Please note that all contributions of money will go directly those who have been impacted by flood damage. If you are a Westminster member in need or know of a member in need, please contact Rev. Carson Salyer at csalyer@nashvillewpc.org.

Westminster:
•
WPC is not scheduling flood work days for the next week or so.  If you are interested in organizing a work team, contact us at wpcfloodrelief@gmail.com.  We will help you connect with those who still need help.  Also, please look for announcements and information about Presbyterian Disaster Assistance and how you can volunteer over the coming weeks.

Hands on Nashville:

•   Hands on Nashville (HON) is working with 2-1-1, Tennessee’s community services help line. HON and 2-1-1 are creating a data base of families in need of workers to create work requests. These work requests are then being dispersed amongst individuals and non-profit organizations active in disaster response in Davidson County. If you know of someone who is in need of volunteer work crews, please encourage them to call 2-1-1.
•   Check HON’s calendar for daily volunteer opportunities: http://www.hon.org.
