Current Volunteer Needs

TUTOR VOLUNTEERS

Prime Time Needs:

•   2:50 -  3:30 pm    Grades K-4
• 12:00 -12:45 pm  Grade 5
•   8:00 am - 3:30 pm Other times will be based on tutors’ availability and teachers’ requests.

JUNIOR ACHIEVEMENT BIZ TOWN

The volunteer supports a Junior Achievement program during which students run businesses.  The students are trained by the teachers.  The volunteers spend the day helping the students keep on track as they run their businesses.

BIG BROTHERS/BIG SISTERS

Volunteers are needed to mentor individual students. They would meet with Cockrill students weekly during the students’ lunch time.  Sometimes the teacher will extend this to an hour.  The volunteer would register with the Big Brothers program and stipulate Cockrill as their school site. 

BOX TOPS FOR EDUCATION

The money will be used to help support student incentives for attendance, academics and behavior. The box top for education collection box is located in the church office. Don't forget to drop of your box tops!

AFTER SCHOOL CLUBS
We plan to have after school clubs which will take place at 3:45- 4:45 p.m.
