Have you noticed the lovely floral arrangements that grace the urns at the front of the Sanctuary each Sunday morning? These flowers are given to the glory of God and in memory of or in honor of someone who has touched the donor’s life. A talented group of members purchase and arrange the flowers each week, enabling us to maintain a lower cost per Sunday than would otherwise be possible. Following the worship services on Sunday, another group of members arrange the flowers into smaller displays and deliver them to members who are ill or otherwise unable to join us for worship. Through these “lilies of the field” we are reminded of how God cares for us , and how we, in turn, care for each other. Please call Danna Brooks in the church office at 292-5526 to reserve a Sunday for which you would like to provide the flowers.
The flowers in the Sanctuary urns for Sunday, May 16 are given to the glory of God in honor of Joan McCarthy by Bill and Kelly Christie.
